Community Service
Community service is a huge part of Bothell FBLA. Students take the time to organize and plan their own community service projects, ranging from raking leave to fundraisers and helping out the local nursing home. While students generally work under supervision and guidance from an advisor, nearly all projects are executed under student guidance and discretion.
Many FBLA community service projects can be found here, but others include:
If you wish to fufill Community Service on your own time, check out the Volunteer Opportunities at the City of Bothell Website.
Speaking Events
Bothell FBLA likes to visit civic organizations and talk to them about future plans and projects they might need assistance with. Speaking events are designed to provide information about FBLA's plans and goals for a certain event to civic groups with an interest in helping. Speaking events are tailored to an hour long presentation and discussion, though they can be cut shorter due to time restraints.
If you are interested in scheduling a speaking arrangement, please send an e-mail to speakingevents@bothellhigh.com. We will try to respond as promptly as we can.

FBLA and the Community
FBLA maintains strong relationships with the local community. Bothell FBLA always gives back to the community, whether through volunteer work or raising awareness for nonprofit organizations. The relationships FBLA fosters with the community are very strong.
FBLA receives generous support from various civic organizations like American Red Cross, Volunteer Services and The Nature Conservacy. These organizations kindly allowed FBLA to propose project plans to them and even allowed FBLA to use their resources and facilities. In return, FBLA helps by raising awareness of their cause and volunteering. If your civic organization is interested in setting up a volunteer service, fundraisers, or simply just wants to help FBLA, email us at fblaprojects@bothellhigh.com. We will try to respond as promptly as we can.
